NEW: TEHD-Calculations of bevel gears with Tribo-X

In addition to the well-established TEHD calculation of spur and helical gears with external or internal teeth, Tribo-X now also allows the calculation of straight, helical and spiral bevel gears as well as hypoid gears. Considered are the real octoid geometry of the tooth flanks as well as face milling (circular arc) and face hobbing (extended epicycloid). For the first time, the tool enables the user to design the tooth flank contact of bevel gears with the latest state of the art technology.
